Fun Palaces return to Lancashire with free family-friendly activities this October

From Friday 2 October to Sunday 4 October, visitors can enjoy a range of creative and hands-on sessions, including slime making, family yoga, sensory play and Lego club activities.

Part of the national Fun Palaces network, this year's programme is inspired by the theme "Everyone an Artist, Everyone a Scientist", encouraging people of all ages to explore creativity, curiosity and discovery in fun and engaging ways.

Events will take place at participating libraries across Lancashire, as well as Judges' Lodgings and Lancaster Castle. Visitors to Lancaster Castle can also enjoy a historical re-enactment delivered by Heritage Learning.

There is no need to book and all activities are free.

County Councillor Ella Worthington, cabinet member for Civic Pride, said:

"Our libraries and museums play an important role in supporting learning, wellbeing and community connections, and these events showcase the very best of what they have to offer.
